It took me well over a year to finally make this video, which happened on Facebook Live.
In fact, I totally remember rehearsing in Slovak one day, walking through the vineyards of a warm summer morning.
I had it, I had the whole thing down, but my nerves got the best of me, and well, it took til now to voice my love for the country I choose to call my home.
So many (Slovak) people have asked me why on earth I would choose Slovakia, when I could easily live in either Canada, the UK, or ANYWHERE else in the world.
It's the energy, definitely the energy, (and a few lifetimes spent there already, perhaps? ;)).

"Why Slovakia? Why not," says the caption. and a rough transcript of the video:
"I was born in England, and moved to Canada with my family, when I was four. I never liked Canada, and at 28, after my (then) husband and I divorced, I picked up and moved back to London, England.
I've lived in Venezuela, Greece, even France for a short stint, as well as the obvious, UK & Canada, but when I got to Slovakia, it was like a huge relief. Finally, I was "home."
Why? It's the energy of Slovakia, this incredible huge, wonderful energy.
Here and now I am in Canada with family, and I very much look forward to going back home to my soul family." <3
